BLACK AND WHITE WEDNESDAY #50 - TREATS

Meringues 1 8 bis

Amarula 2 5 bis
- Happy Hour: Liqueur & Peanuts -

Both pictures were submitted to "Black & White Wednesday", an event created by Susan at "The Well-Seasoned Cook". It will be hosted on the 19th of September by Haloo of "Cook Almost Anything" (click here in order to see who is hosting the next roundup).

* Not homemade, this time. They come from Gruyère (not the cheese, but the district).

Oh, cheese meringue! I have never had it before but what a great idea! Is there a recipe coming up, Rosa? They are looking absolutely perfect in black and white!

Beautiful, Rosa! I love the meringues :)

SANDY: No! ;-P Those meringues come from the district of Gruyère (the same for the cheese) and are just simple meringues. I didn't make them myself as I had no oven at the time I took the picture. But soon I'll share a recipe made with them... xx

Clouds of airy, crisp, melt-in-your-mouth meringues. Those are what my dreams are made of. ;)
